Purchase Refund Policy

Services

We perform services on retainer, not speculation. We have opportunity costs, which means that when we accept your job we reject others to meet promised deadlines. Therefore, once you have paid, we allocate that time to you to the exclusion of others, so we offer no refund after you have make your payment.

Also, most of our work is “front-loaded” (Example: 70% or more of the work is done at the start of the project), so we expend effort on your behalf from the day you pay. You are paying for expert knowledge and skills, not just time. Once we have done the work (examples only: manuscript assessments or copy editing) that work cannot be “undone.”

Therefore, when you make a payment it is non-refundable for any reason. By making a payment you certify that you agree to not seek a refund outside these terms.

Digital Products

We offer knowledge in digital form, so it is intangible and cannot be returned. We offer no refund for digital products but will replace at no charge a mechanically defective product.

Online Courses

We want you to make sure our courses are right for you BEFORE you enroll.  To aid your decision-making process, we offer:

  • A detailed course outline so you can see what content is included in the course.
  • A free mini-course so you can get a taste of our teaching style and methods. VIP sign-up required. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • A free “before you pay” introductory lesson for each of our paid courses.
  • You can contact us with questions before you enroll.
  • This is to help you know what you are getting before you enroll.

Therefore, we offer no refund for courses except in this circumstance: If you take LESS than 20% of the course according to our internal course metrics AND request a refund within 5 days of registration, we will refund your payment within 72 hours of receiving a refund request from you. By registering for any course, you agree to not seek a refund outside these terms.

You have unlimited access to the online course during the registration term, which is 180 days. See the additional License Terms terms below.

The course fee does not include any video copying or download rights.

NOTE: Your invoice may be marked as being from THEATRON. Please be aware that is our billing name for most products and services.
